Deirdre O'Malley
Co-founder and Director of Business Affairs


Deirdre O'Malley and her partner, John Evershed, co-founded Mondo Media in 1988. In her role as director of business affairs, she is responsible for the companies business and financial affairs and oversees the internal operations of the company.

Ms. O'Malley's initial responsibilities with the company included production, marketing and sales, also managing various activities around Mondo Media's business affairs. Today, the company is recognized as one of the largest independent studios in the Bay Area.

Ms. O'Malley produced the Mondo Media's first CD ROM game, "Critical Path," and then served as executive producer on the company's second CD ROM initiative, "The Daedalus Encounter." In 1996, she took over business development responsibilities growing the company's revenues to over $4 million. The San Francisco Business Times has listed Mondo Media among the Bay Area's "Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies" for four years running.

Prior to co-founding Mondo Media, Ms. O'Malley was a Producer for East End Communications, where she produced location-based productions for Kawasaki and Silicon Valley clients such as Amdahl Computers and Sun Microsystems.

Ms. O'Malley holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Toronto.
