Look, it was my first date. In a long, long, long time.

Thanks for believing that it wasn’t my first date ever.

That would be weak.

And I thought it went okay there at the very end. I mean, I didn’t mess it up too much. Except maybe when I went in for a kiss and then stopped her. And then told her I didn’t want to mess anything up. Then leaving abruptly. Okay aside from all of those things?

Not bad.

But now it’s been two months since that date. I’ve been playing it cool, as my buddy Manjeet suggested. We’re just hanging out at home when I realize I committed the worst social atrocity you can ever commit:

I pocket dial her.
